The UK-based “multi-disciplinary creative agency” Future Deluxe is responsible for this impressive-looking piece for “This,” a cut off of Modeselektor‘s Monkeytown LP which features the inimitable vocal sounds of Thom Yorke. Director Andrew Jones appears to be borrowing a little from The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo and a little from Final Fantasy throughout his music video, as a dark-haired girl donning a hood transforms from a dancing puppeteer into a CGI-rendered celestial being while the German duo’s moody, bass-driven tune plays on.
