The Manchester-based masters of the macabre collectively known as Demdike Stare have put out a live recording from May of last year, a 59-minute performance at Hamburg’s legendary cabaret bar, the Golden Pudel Club. The duo’s music is renowned for its willingness to dive into the darkest recesses of African rhythms, decaying samples, and drone structures, and the Demdike Stare live show is no different.
