Former “Brooklyn bass sweeheart” Jubilee, who is once again living in her native Miami after nearly a decade spent in the Big Apple, will soon be releasing her debut solo EP via Dre Skull’s Mixpak imprint. Entitled Pop It! (artwork above), the four-track effort includes remixes from Rizzla and 5kinandbone5, along with a pair of Jubilee originals. After previously recording as one-half of Bassanovva and collaborating with artists such as Star Eyes and Udachi, Pop It! finds Jubilee joyfully stepping out on her own and combining her love of forward bass sounds with the Miami bass and Florida breaks sounds that soundtracked her youth. The EP won’t be released until April 10, but feel free to reacquaint yourself with Jubilee in the meantime by checking out her XLR8R podcast from two years back. The complete Pop It! tracklist is below.
1. Pop It!
2. Overtown
3. Overtown (Rizzla Remix)
4. Overtown (5kinAndBone5 Remix)
