Stockholm-based nostalgia dealers The Whendays have shared this bouncy remix for Austin duo Boy Friend‘s “Egyptian Wrinkle” single from its forthcoming LP of the same name. The production has the same kind of heavy compression and foggy atmospheres that colored the Swedish outfit’s self-titled EP for Cascine, with a bit of extra ethereal drift courtesy of the Texan vocalists. Still, you could probably throw this one on the stereo towards the end of the night to keep any dance party going. Look for Egyptian Wrinkle to drop on February 6 via Italian label Hell, Yes!.
