DJ/producer Rolando, formerly a staple of Detroit’s Underground Resistance crew, is collaborating with Saved label head Nic Fanciulli on a new track, “The Test,” which is set for release on December 12. The one-sided 12″ will be Rolando’s second release on Saved, the first being 2009’s The Afterlife EP, and his first collaborative effort since leaving UR. Alert listeners might also recall that the bass-driven techno track previously appeared on Rolando’s recent XLR8R podcast, which is certainly worth another spin as well.
