As part of its ongoing video series in which up-and-coming artists are filmed while performing music in intimate settings, Lazy Day Lounge took a visit to the studio of Chicago-based producer Savile (a.k.a. Gianpaolo Dieli) to document the process of creating a house track. The video gives an up-close-and-personal account of Savile’s technique, beginning with his search for samples as he collects various field recordings in his neighborhood and continuing through the arrangement and editing process. Savile’s debut record, Being, comes out in January on the Amadeus imprint and will feature three originals and a remix of the title track by Youandewan.
