Legendary dub producer and mastermind behind the now-dormant ~scape imprint, Pole, has announced the release of a new 12″ entitled Waldgeschichten. The three-track endeavor, which we’re told has “bass and space” at its heart, marks Pole’s first release in almost four years, and comes with the news that the German artist has plans to release his own classics (such as the seminal 1, 2, and 3 albums), as well as a slew of forthcoming material on a newly founded imprint to be known simply as Pole. Waldgeschichten will see a release on October 4, kicking off a series of releases that will eventually be concluded by a full-length from the producer/mastering engineer/label head himself sometime in 2012. You can check the artwork and listen to snippets of the three tracks which comprise the 12″ below.
