Ever since its founding just over a year ago, the Brooklyn-based Tri Angle imprint seems to have consistently maintained a thin veil of mystery surrounding the artists on its roster. So the announcement of a US label showcase tour is a diplomatic voyage of sorts, pulling back the shroud of mystery ever so slightly with Holy Other, oOoOO, and the Tri Angle DJs acting as the ambassadors. Or maybe we’re just reading too much into it. Either way, it is certainly welcome news to hear that Holy Other (who will be playing his first US shows) and oOoOO (who will be embarking on his first official US tour) are set to hit a number of cities on each coast, along with one Midwestern stop, throughout the month of August.
