Known for his lunchtime videos with indie rock favorites and music videos for the likes of Sufjan Stevens, filmmaker Jon Casey is now pointing his lens at Chicago’s juke and footwork community. Rashad’s and Spinn’s “Space Juke” is the second of two music videos for juke productions with hopefully more on the way. Casey’s visual aesthetic captures the frenetic dance and music styles of footwork with a pastiche of epileptic stills and otherwise woozy frame effects that mimic the delightful chaos of the music.
