In the midst of celebrating 20 years of releasing excellent electronic music, Ninja Tune found time to pen a deal with San Francisco’s Eskmo, and sign the burgeoning tunesmith to its roster. The signing comes over half a decade of producer Brendan Angelides releasing one-off EPs and singles for labels like Warp and Planet Mu, touring throughout North American and Europe, and recently collaborating with Amon Tobin on the Eskamon project. To mark the occasion and continue to give away free music for its birthday celebration, the label is making Eskmo’s new track, “Come Back,” available for free download through the Ninja Tune XX website. The new Ninja artist will also be releasing his first single for the label, “Cloud Light,” on the Ninja Tune XX compilation, playing upcoming parties in London, Paris, and Brussels, and releasing a brand-new album this October.
