Yesterday, the highly touted, noisy guitar- and distortion-pedal enthusiasts of New York’s A Place to Bury Strangers dropped a brand-new EP, called I Lived My Life to Stand in the Shadow of Your Heart, via Mute. The five-track release features one original song from APTBS, “Girlfriend,” along with the title track, which is originally on the band’s last full-length album, Exploding Head. Three remixes of the lead track are included on the EP courtesy of Secret Machines, Cereal Spiller, and Broken Spindles, as well. Check out the artwork and some tour dates below.
