Following his hunger for new projects, French electronic music reference Maxime Dangles worked on the soundtrack of “Les Délivrés”, a documentary directed by Thomas Grandremy about the alarming working conditions of delivery men/women employed by platforms such as Deliveroo and Uber Eats. He’s now extending his soundtrack work with an album. The alienation, stress, struggle and hope of the documentary’s protagonists were his sources of inspiration to draw this poetic extension of the director’s harrowing and necessary documentary.

« Affrontement », the first single from this 7-track LP which will be released by November 2021 on Lifeguards, talks about their fight for social justice. With raw and striking sounds, sometimes remembering sound of a factory, relates to the alienation of this kind of job. Even with a touch of melancholic, the harsh sound brings back to the struggle they are facing. Indeed, an incisive and powerful track between electronica and IDM, to push us in our thoughts.
