OKAT first entered the Copenhagen underground scene with a R&B and soul-inspired EP. This led her to perform at many classic Danish venues and festivals. Since, OKAT has gravitated towards a intimate, electronic pop-inspired universe and developed from vocalist to songwriter and producer. While creating her forthcoming EP, Katja de Neergaard has educated herself with information technology, and will be starting her PhD in the fall. She is also the co-founder of Copenhagen based label un_ceramics, which she runs with her cousin.

Having worked on the Always In/formation EP on-and-off for four years, the recent lockdown provided OKAT with the opportunity to finalize seven tracks. The result is a collection of songs that explore vulnerability with soft and insisting vocals over beat-driven, electronic productions. Released via her own label, the EP features contributions from songwriters Berrin Bas and Clara Sofie, productions from Tobias Adomat, Frankie Motion, CHLLNGR and OKAT herself and introduces a universe that is both intimate and catchy.
