The song was written in lockdown and covers topics of mental health, overstimulation, and addiction to social media. The song builds on Nefer-T’s brand of introspective alternative pop songs. Social media and clout-chasing have become addictive games, his attention span has become shorter and the bombardment of advertising, flexing, and projecting an airbrushed reality is causing mental strain.

Characteristically, whilst the subject matter may be heavy, the song itself is offset by an upbeat, chirpy instrumental with a video game, synth-wave inspired sound design. Nefer-T also designs his own vector-style album art work.
