I’m amateur DJ, I think music is a force that keeps my spirit high and always foward looking and positive. My connection with music is deep. Djing and curating music is very popular now but I’ve always cherished the radio DJ and the club DJ with a booth to himself and that duty to spin for the dance floor. Now the scene has changed and I love our future dance culture. I see myself not taking over stages but maybe a radio show of my own or segment in one. Theres many talented electronic DJs underground here in Texas, Dallas Texas that is: from new RNB and electronic beats to new latin american- latinx electronic artists and Djs emerging and rad experimental coming out of rented out Taquerias at 2am. Its amazing and I feel like dance culture here has the potential to become something new and bring another spot in the world that embraces new genres and artists, dJs, events etc. I’m happy to be apart of it and as long as keep doing my thing , me and many other people will turn Dallas into something you have to come experience for yourself.
