Sjazd is the alter-ego of JXTPS, who co-founded the shadow/work label with Meera Shades in 2019.

Sjazd 2 is the sophomore release of Sjazd and features 5 tracks covering a soundscape of ambient electronica, live psychedelic jazz and acid. Sounds hark Peter Van Hoesen, Donato Dozzy, Survive and Alessandro Cortini.

Of particular interest on Sjazd 2 is ‘Equinox’ – featuring field recordings of native Australian birds, Sjazd’s own psychedelic guitar solo and a heavy drenching of hardware synthesis. Equinox has been provided to Spotify as an early release feature. Sjazd is also working with Nura (headphones) to create TikTok content around the combination of live guitar and hardware synths.
