Yavor Zografski aka SMYAH is a music producer and filmmaker based in Sofia, Bulgaria. Being hugely inspired by the drum&bass, dubstep and soundsystem culture, SMYAH’s sound varies a lot, swinging from broken beats to leftfield bass with some aerial elements. His constant pursuit to innovate musically has left a lot of freedom for experimentation and discoveries. Having three EPs behind, SMYAH is currently working on his first full length album (due Autumn) while at the same time developing a music video to promote it.
He is also founder of Sound in Picture – a platform that brings together music producers and visual artists in collaboration – a blend between music label and photography magazine, where sound is expressed through photography and vice-versa – www.soundinpicture.com. Each release features one track illustrated in series of photographs.
