Rendezvous / Valley Days” is the first official release of the artist whose musical path began almost 13 years ago amid the West Siberian Plain as a hip-hop producer and obscure underground rapper. With his new record, Vonpsyche skillfully recreates his genesis of minimalistic hip-hop approach in a modern, carefully thought out and metatronic sound.

“These two tracks come from a sense of being on the edge of the cycle. Some time ago I made them very quickly, but today it suddenly feels like the time has come to release them. I feel that the old ways are leaving, and I want to think that these feelings are related not only to personal affairs, but also to planetary ones,” Vonpsyche himself wrote of the release.

“Rendezvous” is a haunting track whose tension gently increases until the listener is in an atmosphere of intense bass fusion, which dissolves in a beautiful, almost Burialistique soundscape, while “Valley Days” (originally: Valley Death) is a repetitive piece based on a hypnotic piano loop that unfolds into a shock-filled beat at the center of an almost disorienting delay canvas.
