HEROARKY IS A TOKY BORN, SYDNEY BASED EXPERIMENTAL MINIMAL ELECTRONIC MUSIC PRODUCER/AUDIO-VISUAL ARTIST CURRENTLY BASED IN SYDNEY. Musically, Heroarky draws influence from minimalist producers such as Steve Reich, as well as his day job helping refugees, mainly from Syria and Iraq, to establish a new life in Sydney. His first EP VO/CE was featured on XLR8R. The track Sanitizer is from his latest EP Mikrocosmos – reflecting on the current pandemic situation and uncertainty. The opening track Mikrocosmos is accompanied by a intro video created by the artist, which unfolds awakening consciousness and changing perception of the world felt by many globally under this rapidly evolving circumstance.

His approach to music is often based on thoughts and ideas rather than following what the current trend is. He sees the death of minimalism as a mirror to our industry’s obsession with materialism. It could be that people are much less patient to listen to music which won’t evolve in less than 3-4min, so eager to see a change in life whereas distasting monotonous repetitions.
