There isn’t a clear explanation of what happens when a person becomes hypnotized, or how the state may be induced using sound. Calming vocal repetition and textural poly-rhythms send the conscious self into abeyance. Siamese Whisper is a hypnotic bop that reveals elements of what comes after.

Sebeyu is ultraviolet light. Light that reveals colors and properties unseen in visible light. Her version of industrial rave is a mix of faded synth, massive drums, and dual harmonic singing; a voice technique that produces two notes simultaneously. A multidisciplinary artist, she designs looks for Vogue, directs VR experiences, and headlines revolutionary club nights with equal aplomb.
