Kämmer is the artist name of visual artist, creative director and DJ/selector/producer Lars Kemnitz who is based in Hamburg, Germany. He’s been selecting music and DJing for more than 15 years now, releasing new mixes on a regular basis together with his partner-in-crime L’Man. His first EPs were published in 2011, since then there has been lots of silence as he focussed more on other creative work like filmmaking. Now, in 2021, he returns with new music. The first track that is released, is called “Thinking of Distant Shores”, a slow and moody broken-beat track that was inspired by trips to the island of Fuerteventura, Spain. There’s more music in the making ready to be released very soon.
