Based in Rouen, Arno Vancolen (in his various post-punk guises) has shared the stage with Michael Rother, Faust and Wire and produced several albums with his electronic rock group, Steeple Remove. Drawing from a background of industrial, noise, krautrock and post-punk his gravitation towards electronic music resulted in a collaborative remix with Laurent Garnier, and a track on the Code QR label. Respected producer Sonic Boom (Peter Kember) needs little introduction after nearly 4 decades in music as co-founder of Spacemen 3, E.A.R. (Experimental Audio Research) and Spectrum. Under his solo guise he turns the album’s opener ‘Venus Loop Revisité’ into a glittering affair that demonstrates his exceptional skill.
