Matteo Ciccarone, better known as Sickarone, is a producer from Turin with a sound shaped by Jungle, Garage, Footwork, and everything in between.
Falling in love with samplers during his time making beat tapes, he developed a hardware based workflow: basically recording live jams of a MPC sequencing various drum machines and synths, feeding a modular system. His productions are full of nostalgic, properly chopped breaks, tons of pitched and hypnotic vocals and deep subs.

In 2021 he released the 6 tracks ep “Rudecat” released on 4NCY, (the label from Foreign Beggar’s Pavan) getting a few spin from the London based dj Naina (Sherelle’s partner in crime at Hooversound).
He also recently released a garage 4 tracks ep on Funclab records, including a pretty energetic rmx from Denham Audio, and he’s also working with Kahter from Swamp81 on a release forthcoming on Excess Bristol later this year.
