I hope you’re safe and well in all the madness going on. I wanted to share this album with you. It’s my 3rd solo full length. Other releases were under the name Gravy Murphy on Metal Postcard records. I also have a collaborative album just out on Fallen Moon Records (Past Inside the Present Sub label). This one is a new direction for me so just going under, ‘Murphy’ with this one. Been working on it for a couple of years so I’m happy to be sharing with you. Would be great to get a feature/
Made here on a mix of (mostly) modular synths and other synths/drum machines. This Is an electronica/ alt synth, sometimes ambient/downbeat album. I’m a UK artist based in Melbourne. Artwork for this album by South African Artist Givan Lötz.
There are video clips for 3 of the tracks. Here’s the first for single, Solitary Pleasures filmed here in Melbourne back when we were allowed out. Directed by Abhishek Samariya

Reviews from previous releases.
Listed in The Vinyl Factory’s 10 best vinyl releases of the week –
“Ten tracks deep, full of beats that swing and grooves that rumble in all the right directions. There’s elements of early Portishead, Pye Corner Audio and even Depth Charge in there but Gravy makes it all his own…”

Norman Records – “Shuffling electronica and carefully curated bleeps. All with a decent bit of analogue synth heft behind it…”
Rough Trade – “Next up on the ever ace Metal Postcard is this Killer LP from Gravy Murphy full of magical beats”
Code 7 Distribution – “New electronica from Perth, Australia that sits between James Blake, Oneohtrix Point Never and Palmbomen”
