It may seem like we say this every week, but we’ve seriously got a crazy list of artists dropping great music in today’s edition of Press Play. Names like John Tejada, Claude VonStroke, Matthew Herbert, Ruff Sqwad, Chromatics, Happa, Bok Bok, and Mount Kimbie all appear in our roundup of original tunes, exclusive premieres, live performances, DJ mixes, fresh remixes, and more. Today, we’re premiering house maven Claude VonStroke’s remix of the title track from fellow Dirtybird DJ/producer Justin Martin’s recently released Ghettos & Gardens album, which will drop next week—along with versions from the likes of Pezzner and Eats Everything—as part of Ghettos & Gardens Remixes Vol. 2.

We have another premiere for you in today’s Press Play, and it’s an acid-leaning remix of Simian Mobile Disco’s “Breaking Time” tune by techno veteran John Tejada. (By the way, SMD is on tour in North America right now, which is a live show you do not want to miss.)

Since Matthew Herbert announced this week that he’ll soon reissue his classic Bodily Functions LP along with an extra disc of remixes from producers such as Plaid, Recloose, and Matmos, he also shared some streams of the music, including the original version of “Leave Me Now” and Dave Aju’s remix of “Foreign Bodies.”

Night Slugs co-owner Bok Bok uploaded his recent appearance on Rinse FM, which also featured ballroom mainstay Vjuan Allure, to SoundCloud, so you should probably listen to it.
