Berlin-based software and controller designer Native Instruments has offered up a new delay plug-in, the Replika, for free download. Said to be “a versatile delay for anything from subtle slapback to warped sheets of noise,” the software FX unit utilizes two separate virtual delays and a “powerful diffusion algorithm” to get the job done. Offered as a holiday gift from the good folks at Native Instruments, the Replika plug-in (usable with both Macs and PCs) can be downloaded for the price of an email address here.
