The Local Action imprint and DJ Q have teamed up with online music store Juno—which, incidentally, was just profiled as part of XLR8R Record Store Week—to launch a remix contest, inviting budding producers to rework DJ Q’s “Trust Again” single from earlier this year. Coinciding with the release of the UK producer’s new 12″ for Local Action, “Through the Night (feat. Louise Williams),” the remix contest gives those who enter the stems of DJ Q’s earlier collaboration with Williams, offering prizes like a Juno voucher, a SoundCloud Pro Account, the entire Local Action back catalog, and more for the winning rework—not to mention bragging rights. Submissions are due by May 26; the full deatils of the contest and stems for “Trust Again” can be found here.
