Well-regarded synth makers Nord have unveiled Beat 2, an updated version of its drum-sequencing iPad app that is now available to download for free. Though it is tailor made to be used with Nord’s Drum 2 synthesizer, the six-track sequencer app can be utilized with any external MIDI drum module, synth, or sampler, as well as other sound-generating iPad apps using Virtual MIDI.
