Following its recent performance at a saloon just outside of Joshua Tree and subsequent live recording for its upcoming album, longstanding UK pair Simian Mobile Disco has opened the doors to its studio to show off its impressive array of production tools and to discuss the method which will yield the outfit’s next LP. Speaking with Resident Advisor, the duo dives into the concept and process behind its forthcoming record, while also discussing the way the group utilizes its growing collection of modular synths and hardware sequencers, among other pieces of drool-worthy gear.
