This energetic bass number is the product of a remix trade off between Montreal’s Ango (pictured above) and San Francisco’s Salva. The Bay Area-based beatsmith tweaked the elements of his Canadian neighbor’s “Part Time” track into something a bit funkier, a bit more upbeat, and a bit more ready to make an appearance in your next peak-hour DJ set. Salva’s bubbling future-house remix shows a new side to his production workâone full of the kind of squelchy bass notes, frigid synth tones, alien textures, and skittering dance rhythms you’d catch coming from UK tune hubs such as Night Slugs or Blunted Robots.
