Despite what his name may imply, elusive Symbols signee Druid Cloak is not quite as dark as you might expect. You may remember his “Blessing of the Grove” tune from last month, and his latest production work, a remix of “Fiction” by The xx (pictured above), is just as crisp and percussive. The remixer fills his version of the sparse tune from Coexist with subdued snares, crunchy handclaps, and fittingly laid-back vibes, weaving Oliver Sim’s hushed vocals in and out of his drum patterns.
