It’s inspiring when a person can run a label as organized and accomplished as Spontaneous Rhythm—having released records by the likes of Divine Interface and Coppice Halifax—yet can still find time to construct such a well-crafted track as “Asiko.” What’s even more inspiring is that said person is merely 19. Without utilizing his label to release “Asiko,” the Manchester-based producer known as Howes lends us this dark and gritty house track as a lone freebie which leaves us with the feeling like we just spent a long night on the dancefloor.
