Leaving his home in pursuit of new ideas and sounds, Berlin producer Aera trekked through the South American countryside to absorb the feeling of being “free.” If the sounds that populate “Die Pferden” are any indication, it appears that his journey was a fruitful one. The punchy house track certainly evokes a sense of freedom as it roams around different sounds and motifs; it never settles on one in particular, but still allows each segment to influence the rest of the composition. “Die Pferden” is taken from Aera’s recently released Offseason Traveller LP (artwork above), which was issued via the producer’s own Aleph imprint.
