Following on from the release of his Medicine Man EP, Octopus Recordings label head, Sian, will release his latest LP, Anthracite, on August 3. The LP was composed with a collection of Moog Synths, a Korg MS-20, and an array of outboard effects, creating a 23-track, immersive techno journey. In support of the album, Sian has offered up exclusive cut “Post Empire,” a rolling, dancefloor-focused slice of techno with an ominous flavor; crisp drum-machine rhythms and metallic synth stabs roll around on top of a floor-shaking bassline and chest-pounding kicks.
