Eomac is Berlin-based Irishman Ian McDonnell, a producer who has been behind some of the most solid techno tunes in recent times, both alone and alongside Dara Smith as Lakker. His solo output has tended to fall towards the rougher, noisier end of the techno spectrum, releasing on the likes of The Trilogy Tapes, Inner Surface Music and Stoboscopic Artefacts. His most recent output saw him return to Killekill—a label and party based in the same city of his residence.

We recently reported that Killekill were lining up a compilation in celebration of reaching their 25th release (from which our download today is taken). The release also marks the end of an era at the label, as they are now set to split into multiple sub-labels, to allow for focus on more specific sub-genres (though the Killekill brand will continue as an organization, and throwing parties).

“Angel In The Marble” is the second track on the compilation—a gritty, bleepy slice of techno. It’s accompanied by work form the likes of Dez Williams, Umwelt and Cassegrain & Tin Man, across all varieties of electro and techno. To check out more of what Killekill has to offer aside from the release, head to this year’s Krake Festival—the annual Berlin event is hosted by the label.
