Es Cub, the third LP from Spanish-German producer Manuel Tur, is set to arrive via the Freerange label on Monday, May 19. Named after Tur’s small studio space in which the record was crafted (Es Cub translating to “The Cube” in English), the 10-track record concludes with “Agrafena,” a hypnotic, percussion-fueled piece of deep-reaching house. Built around a cyclical string pattern, Tur adds octaves of organ runs, airy melodies, and a rounded bass to the procession, all of which are carried along by the producer’s gently swung rhythms, finely chiseled to ensure they punch through most any club system.
