Ann Streichmann “The Flow” (Kells Remix)
Broken-beat melancholia.

Tomorrow, June 29, Point Blank Recordings will release its sophomore offering, Ann Streichmann‘s The Flow EP.
The Flow follows on from Amani’s brilliant Perpendicular EP with Streichmann’s original and a mouth-watering list of remixers including house royalty DJ Sneak, Terry Grant, and Point Blank favorite Kells, who also provided a remix for Amani’s Perpendicular. Veering from Amani’s experimentalism towards the dancefloor, the new EP is full of floor ammo, ranging from the glowing electro-pop of the original to DJ Sneak’s slamming house interpretation and Terry Grant’s sun-drenched rework.
Ahead of tomorrow’s release, Point Blank has offered up Kells remix as today’s XLR8R download. Like his contribution to Amani’s Perpendicular, the new remix is a gorgeous slice of broken-beat house, with emotive chords and poignant vocal chops delivering waves of melancholia fit for a daydream.
