The second cut from London production outfit F.E.A.R.‘s Digital Heart record, “Astrid” comes fully dipped in ’80s vibes, with a vintage-sounding drum kit and rumbling bassline working out its heavy groove. F.E.A.R. brings to mind a realm similiar to the dancefloor-friendly work of Disclosure (albeit on a much darker tip), and tunes like this one exhibit that infectiously skewed blend of pop, house, and UK garage sounds. You can preview the rest of F.E.A.R’s Digital Heart EP, which is out now via Black Butter, after the jump.
