D.C.-based noise-rockers Apes already have an outstanding history recording for the French Kiss and Birdman imprints, in addition to touring with bands like Liars and Klaxons. Taken from the band’s forthcoming Gypsy Eyes LP, “Beat of the Double” will have new schoolers and art-rock enthusiasts all riled up.
