Berlin-based label Natch Records will launch its new sub-label, Natch Elements, with the Drone Capacity EP by rising French producer BLNDR.
Drone Capacity presents the label’s sonic aesthetic with four originals from BLNDR and two remixes provided by label boss Synthek and compatriot Hydrangea. Across the six tracks, the three artists present a varied yet cohesive sound, from the ethereal soundscapes and ambience of opening cut “Temples And Mothership” to the title track’s deep rolling grooves.
To celebrate the release, Natch has offered up Hydrangea’s remix as one of today’s XLR8R downloads. For her remix, Hydrangea takes the already deep original and takes it even further down into the depths, adding dubby elements and haunting atmospheres for EP’s most cavernous outing.
