It’s been a big year for Damu; just last month, the producer born Sam Schorb announced the creation of his new label, Fulcrum, as well as the first signee to his roster, Paleman, whose All Good EP on the label comes out on Monday. Now, the Mancunian tunesmith has selected “Brazil” by London band Post War Years as the subject of his latest remix. On “Brazil (Damu Remix),” the producer adds skittish percussion and jittery synth tweaks into the heavily layered mix, removing the original synth sweeps and building epic choruses to effectively create an entirely different song. And if you missed it last week, Post War Years shared a house treatment of the title track from their forthcoming record, Glass House, by Maribou State, which you can check out here.
