Though LOL Boys recently called it quits, there’s another LA/Montreal production outfit on the block ready to handle your dancefloor needs. California-based Steve Huerta has teamed up with Canadian duo Prince Club (a.k.a. Max-Antoine Gendron and Zacharie-Jos Montpetit) on a forthcoming EP for the Amadeus imprint/collective, calling it Can’t Let Go. The group has sent over that record’s title track, which measures strangled waves of vocals and dulled synths against a chunky low end, allowing the singing to rise from a murk of drum hits and grumbling bass.
