Spiraling, speculative synths are the primary driving force on this heaving remix of The Phantom’s “Ceremony” by Belgian producer Ultravid. Pretty, luminescent, and punctuated with Night Slugs-style drops that transport the tune into hi-hat laden mayhem, Ultravid has clearly set his sights on unsuspecting dancefloors. Complete with cowbells and slurred vocals, the remix seduces a dancer into a lull before diving into grimey bass stabs and riding a syncopated house beat.
