Steve Hauschildt, one third of Ohio’s Emeralds (who we spoke to just this week about its brand-new Just to Feel Anything album), is readying the release of his Sequitur LP, and has decided to let “Constant Reminders” go as a free download before it drops on November 12. On the relaxed synth-pop cut, what could be a computer-generated voice or Hauschildt’s own voice passed through a vocoder (or both) sings a melancholy melody alongside a playful and poignant synthline, all of which is bolstered by the proudcer’s softly bouncing drum-machine patterns.
