With the pleasantly simple piano melody, the atmospheric production quality, the detailed percussion, and the subtly shifting rhythms of “De Bons Moments,” it’s hard to tell that visual artist-turned-producer Yayati (a.k.a. Igor Fedoseev) is just now releasing his debut musical work, the MO!NO Love LP. Some of the melodic qualities and rhythmic handclaps do begin to unravel later in the track, though, which sounds a little bit like a child cutely playing along and gives the song an endearing quality.
