Brooklyn experimentalist Clay Wilson is set to offer six cuts of raw techno later this month when he debuts on the second volume in a fleding series of 12″s from NYC label Styles Upon Styles. The series—referred to as Bangers and Ash (or just BASH for short)—invites artists to create “heady experiments” on their record’s a-side and more “club-oriented tunes” on the flip, which is where Wilson’s “End Gap”—along with its dense groove and machine-made percussion—can be found. The BASH002 EP is set to drop on January 28, with each copy having its own unique, ink-jetted paper jacket—designed by Wilson himself—an example of which is shown above.
