Fakear is French artist Théo Le Vigoreux, a 24-year old producer who to this point has released four EPs since launching the moniker in 2013. In the three short years since his debut release, Vigoreux has amassed millions of plays across Spotify, SoundCloud, and French radio, sold out Paris’ legendary Olympia, and won the praise of internationally recognized artists M.I.A. and ODESZA.
Vigoreux’s debut album, Animal, dropped via Counter Records on June 10 to further acclaim. It’s a gorgeously produced collection of downtempo electronics, a solid step for a producer who is fast rising to the top of not only the French scene but the music scene as a whole.
The second single to drop from Animal is “Silver” ft. Rae Morris, which lands backed by remixes from DrumTalk, Pedram, Few Nolder, Gacha, and Bakradze, whose remix has been offered as today’s XLR8R download. The track, which is a feel-good slice of house, can be download via WeTranfer below.
