On “Girl Song,” one of five tracks from UK producer Slackk‘s forthcoming She’s A Vector EP, the grime-loving beatmaker cross-pollinates the track with garage and Chicago-house influences and a Motown-indebted vocal sample. The EP, which comes out November 14 via the Tokyo-based Diskotopia imprint, sees Slackk (a.k.a. Paul Lynch) fusing his influences together to create another chapter of edgy “eski-house” rhythms.
