Seasoned Berlin-based producer Farben (a.k.a. Jan Jelinek)—who has also accrued a wide number of additional aliases throughout the years—is now set to release his new LP James DIN A4 on April 18 via his Faitiche label. The album is named after sample- and collage-focused artist James DIN A4 (a.k.a Dennis Busch), whose previous works were the launching off point for a series of remixes by Jelinek. The German sound designer has since collected 10 of those productions to be featured on his forthcoming LP, including the patient “Lucifer Rising.” With a slight nod toward loungey, space-age sounds, Farben’s track undulates with vocal loops and deep bass tones while the light, clicking percussion slowly rises to the forefront.
