Newcastle-based producer Terrell is set to debut on the fledgling First Second label with a four-track, untitled EP in June. Closing out the forthcoming effort is “Momentum,” a dark and dense excursion into slow-motion dub techno. With a single kick drum and a few echoing percussion hits serving as the track’s only rhythmic elements, Terrell’s production focuses on layering together thick textures which sludge around the track’s steady pulse and cold atmospheres. Set to drop early next month via First Second’s Bandcamp, the rest of Terrell’s upcoming EP is available to stream after the jump.
